Since the beginning of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), foreign investments worth $6.3 million have been raised in Iran’s South Khorasan province, said Majid Pour-Isa, director of the Planning and Budget Organization of Iran in the South Khorasan Province, Trend reports citing IRNA.
He said that by the end of the fourth Iranian month (March 21 - July 22), foreign investments worth $87 million were already approved in the province.
He added that 28 projects will be implemented in South Khorasan province this year.
“It is planned to provide support for startups, development of science and technology parks and a number of projects are planned,” he said.
Electricity for 14 villages in the province will be ensured by using solar energy, he noted. He added that construction of solar panel plants with foreign investments has started in Boshruyeh and Khusf counties in Iran.
