A ferrosilicon plant with foreign investments will be built in Khalkhal County of Iran’s Ardabil province, said Akbar Behnamju, governor of Ardabil province, Trend reports with reference to the Ardabil province website.
Behnamju noted that $114 million should be invested in the construction of this plant, and 50 percent of this volume will be provided by foreign investors.
Behnamju added that 1,500 people will be employed with the commissioning of the plant.
“Iran’s Bank of Industry and Mine has announced readiness to provide loans for the plant,” the governor said. “The loans will be provided after the construction of the plant starts.”
