Iran's capital market is a priority compared to other markets, and it should be viewed based on reports, not rumors, said Iran's Minister of Economic Affairs Farhad Dejpasand, Trend reports via ILNA.
"Capital market should be a secure place for investment not a base for social and political activities," said Dejpasand.
"There is a capital market committee in the parliament that is responsible for policy making, but the capital market should work by itself," Dejpasand said.
"I would not give any assurance about capital market's profitability but we should try to improve it and we have plans on how to do it," he said.
"Therefore the government supports the capital market, but there are no guarantees. The government has no negative views on the capital market," Dejpasand said.
