Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development announced 60 percent of Iran's trade relations are done through 25 border terminals of the country.
“Over $20 billion worth of trade was done through these 25 terminals during the last Iranian year (March 2019 to March 2020),” Iran`s Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami said, Trend reports citing Tasnim News Agency.
“The amount of trade via country's border terminals in current Iranian year is more than last year."
He went on to say that the private sector has invested over $4.7 billion in the country's ports in the last few years.
“In general, today the aviation, rail, and transportation industries are handed over private companies and great investments have been made by private sectors in these fields,” he said.
