All the centrifuges that went out of circuit in Natanz incident were IR1 that would be replaced by advanced machines, said Iran Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh.
All the centrifuges that went out of circuit at the Natanz nuclear plant during the recent incident were 'IR1', and they will be replaced by more advanced ones, said Khatibzadeh, Trend reports via IRNA.
The mentioned incident was reported on Sunday, when the electrical distribution grid of the Natanz nuclear facility suffered disruption. Reportedly, there were no injuries or casualties.
"It is early to estimate the amount of damages, there are teams that are currently reviewing the case," said Khatibzadeh.
"What has happened in Natanz won't be a setback for Iran's nuclear industry," he said.
"The amount of damages in Natanz should be determined according to the testing of the machines, but each machine that is damaged would be replaced by more modern machines," he said.
