Iran to discuss auto sale at mercantile exchange

TEHRAN, Iran, May.24

Trend:

The plan to offer auto for sale at Iran Mercantile Exchange has been approved by the parliament's industries and mines commission and waiting to be reviewed at the parliament, said the head of the auto committee in the parliament's industries and mines commission.

It is expected that the plan would be discussed at the parliament session next week, said Rohullah Izadkhah, Trend reports citing ILNA.

"The other related sections of the plan to organize auto industry has yet to be reviewed, so far the commission's focus is to balance auto market and pricing that is the priority. The commission would discuss other issues such as technology, foreign contract, etc., after the review of auto sale at the mercantile exchange in the parliament session," he added.

"Almost half of the purchased vehicles are being stored in parking for profit to be sold when the price is higher. The process of pricing that is suggested by the industries commission would prevent these events and control this issue," Izadkhah stressed.
