Managing Director of Iran's Livestock Affairs Support Company of Iran Hassan Abbasi assessed the livestock input reserves as appropriate.
Abbasi said that the reserves of livestock inputs are currently in their best condition, Trend reports citing ILNA.
“There are more than 4.3 million tons of livestock inputs in the country's ports, which is more than we need for the next three months,” Managing Director of Iran's Livestock Affairs Support Company Hassan Abbasi said.
He stated that the monthly need for imported livestock inputs in the country is 1.7 million tons.
“Every day, 90 percent of the need for livestock input is cleared from customs warehouses,” he said.
He announced the registration of orders for more than 10.3 million tons of livestock inputs. Abbasi stated that this amount of order registration meets the needs of the country for another 6 months.
“In other words, in addition to stockpiles of livestock inputs for the next 3 months, an order has been registered for the supply of these basic goods for next 6 months."
