TEHRAN, Iran, April 25. Iran is planning to export food products to Qatar, the Emirate, and Kuwait online, said the head of Federation of Iranian Food Industries Federation Mohsen Naghashi, Trend reports citing ILNA.
"Iran has designed an online software to cover domestic food sale and export to Qatar, the UAE, and Kuwait," he said.
He pointed out that a freight container is exported daily from Iran to the United Arab Emirates and from there to Oman, Qatar, and Bahrain.
He stressed the online sale of food products will eliminate intermediaries and provide a proper price for consumers.
According to the official, the Iranian government is ready to support the private sector to develop an intelligent food distribution network.
