TEHRAN, Iran, November 8. The production in Iran’s mining and mineral industries has reached stability, said Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Vajihollah Jafari, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"The production of the mine and mineral industry sector has not declined despite the power outage in the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2022)," he said.
The Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade have agreed to establish power plants to produce 17,000-megawatt electricity for mining and mineral industries, said Jafari.
According to the deputy, the ministry plans to complete comprehensive projects in gold, copper, and zinc production in addition to structural reform in the steel industry.
