Iran is not expecting a new resolution on country's nuclear program at the upcoming IAEA Board of Governors Meeting, Islamic Republic's envoy to IAEa Ali Asghar Soltanieh said, IRNA reported.

IAEA Board of Governors Meeting is scheduled for next week, where 35-member board of directors will participate.

Soltanieh said the topics of upcoming discussions will be nuclear power plants security, IAEA's annual budget and Islamic Republic's nuclear program.

He added that the upcoming meeting is an ordinary one, and Iran doesn't expect any new resolution of the nuclear program.

Speaking about Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Yukiya Amano's visit to Tehran, Soltanieh said that a new page has been opened in the "Iran-IAEA" cooperation.

With that said, Soltanieh urged other countries to avoid politicizing Iran's nuclear program.

"Some countries do that, and they make cooperation between Iran and IAEA problematic," he noted.

Iran has persistently stated that its nuclear programme is for civilian purposes, but some Western powers suspect Iran is trying to cover up nuclear tests there.

The developments come amid mounting impatience from nations including the United States and Israel over Iran's perceived stalling to allow full inspections and oversight of its nuclear programme.
