The US should assure the Islamic Republic's trade partners that will not impose restrictions on their business with Iran, the Iranian foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif said.

He made the remarks while commenting on recent talks with the US on implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

The parties negotiated about the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's concerns on the JCPOA including the necessity of taking steps by the US side to ensure Iranian officials on removing sanctions, Zarif said, Iran's ISNA news agency reported Oct. 31.

Iranian and American foreign ministers held three meetings in the Austrian capital city of Vienna on Oct. 29-30 on implementing the nuclear agreement reached between Tehran and the six world powers (the US, Russia, China, France, Britain and Germany) last July.

Based on the deal certain limits will be put on Iran's nuclear activities in exchange for lifting economic sanctions against the Islamic Republic.

Iran's supreme leader confirmed the deal on Oct. 21 under certain conditions, including demand of powerful, sufficient guaranties in order to prevent the US and the EU of violating their commitments on lifting sanctions.

Zarif described the recent talks on the implementation of the nuclear agreement as constructive.

The US party should implement their commitments on JCPOA as soon as possible, he added.

"We wanted to make sure that the commitments would be met in various fields of the JCPOA," Zarif underlined.

The top Iranian diplomat further said that good progress was made in the talks over rebuilding of the Arak heavy water reactor.
