Lebanese FM to visit Iran, discuss bilateral relations

Lebanon's Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil will make a trip to Iran late this week, Fars news agency reported Oct. 13.
Reportedly, the visit will take place at an official invitation of Iran.
The bilateral relations and the processes in the region will be discussed during the visit.
Gebran Bassil was two weeks earlier elected the head of the Lebanese Free Patriotic Movement.
In this position, Bassil replaced Michel Aoun.
The trip will be Bassil's first visit to Iran after being elected the head of the Free Patriotic Movement.
