Two IRGC commanders killed in Syria

IRGC commanders Farshad Hasounizadeh and Hamid Mokhtarbans were killed in Syria, Iranian media outlets reported on Oct.13.
Colonel Farshad Hasounizadeh, the former commander of IRGC's Saberin Special Brigade, was martyred while fulfilling his duty as military adviser in Syria and fighting the Takfiri terrorists in the Muslim country.
Earlier, one of the top Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commanders Brigadier General Hossein Hamedani has been killed in Syria on October 8, IRGC's official website reported.
Hamedani was killed near the city of Aleppo during his mission to provide consultations services to Syrian Islamic front forces against ISIL, the public relations department of the IRGC said in a statement.
