Army to be Involved into Inauguration of Georgian President 20 Jan

Georgia, Tbilisi, 15 January / Тrend corr N. Kirtskhalia / The inauguration of the newly re-elected Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili will take place on 20 January. The ceremony will take place at the Bagrat Temple in the region of Kutaisi, Mze TV company reported.

Then the ceremony will be continued in Tbilisi, where in front of the Parliament building Saakashvili will solemnly swear on the Georgian Constitution.

Later, a military demonstration including the Georgian Armed Forces will take place.

The inauguration will be attended by the Presidents of six countries, as well as official delegations from 30 countries. Azerbaijan will be represented by the Prime Minister Artur Rasizade. A reception for the guests will take place in the Opera and Ballet Theatre.

The opposition is ready to undermine the inauguration.
