Georgia, Tbilisi, Dec. 26 /corr. Trend N.Kirtskhalia / "Saakashvili usurped the power, and for this reason, it is principally important to appoint pre-term presidential elections," said leader of Democratic Movement - United Georgia, Nino Burjanadze, at the conference Kvemo-Kartli, held by the party today in Rustavi.
According to her, nothing will change or no democratic changes will take place in
the country if the country is not headed by a man, who will be able to listen to
reasonable opinions and to remove the country from the existing situation.
"I am ready to go around the entire country in order to explain the need of holding pre-term elections to the society. Today the country sustains anxious situation and it is necessary to rescue the State," said Burjanadze.
According to her, holding only pre-term parliamentary elections will change nothing
in the country.
"Conducting parliamentary elections will make sense only after holding pre-term
presidential elections," she added.
According to Burjanadze, she will use all constitutional ways for appointing
pre-term elections in spring next year.
