Chairman of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Dick Marty will hold his first meeting in the Georgian Parliament during his Tbilisi visit.
According to the parliament, Marty arrived in Tbilisi on Monday with the official meetings scheduled to begin on Dec. 21.
The PACE representative will meet members of the Georgian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe on Tuesday morning.
He, along with the Vice Premier, will also meet the State Minister for Reintegration Eka Tkeshelashvili the National Security Council Secretary George Bokeria.
The PACE delegation will leave Tbilisi on the same day.
The main goal of the visit is to prepare for the final session of PACE, which will discuss the fulfillment of resolutions passed by the Council of Europe on Georgian-Russian relations.
