Police have detained three officials over an explosion that killed three servicemen at a military training center near the Georgian capital of Tbilisi on Tuesday, local TV reported.
Another 13 people were injured in the explosion of a 120-millimeter mortar shell at the Krtsanisi Training Center. A technical error is believed to have triggered the incident, RİA Novosti reported.
A supervisor and two colonels responsible for safety rules were detained.
An investigation is underway.
