Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili signed a decree approving a Memorandum of Understanding between the Georgian and Swiss governments today.
The Georgian Foreign Ministry was instructed to inform the Parliament to conclude this memorandum and provide for appropriate measures required by law.
The Georgian President also issued a decree approving the agreement signed between the Georgian and Russian governments.
According to the decree, the agreement on "Basic principles associated with the monitoring mechanism of commodity trade and customs administration between the Georgian and Russian governments" signed on November 9, 2011 was approved. The Foreign Ministry is authorized to inform the Georgian Parliament about formalizing this agreement and ensuring the implementation of other relevant activities envisaged by the legislation.
