Georgian Interior Minister Vano Merabishvili met with his Turkish counterpart Idris Naim Sahin who is on a visit to Tbilisi.
The Ministers of Internal Affairs of the two countries signed a memorandum of cooperation in combating organised crime, drug crimes and trafficking and the exchange of information.
The Turkish delegation also includes a deputy minister, heads of the police departments, the security service and other organisations.
During the two-day visit, guests will familiarise themselves with the reforms made in Georgia, examine new police stations and visit the Police Academy.
Also today, Turkey's Interior Minister meets with the Minister of Justice of Georgia.
