Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has made a speech at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation.

As the presidential administration said, Saakashvili paid special attention to the contributions of Reagan in world politics.

Executive director of the foundation, Congressman from the Republicans David Dreier present the Georgian President to participants of the event.

The president spoke about the innovations that are introduced in Georgia during his 20 minute speech. He stressed that the first at post-Soviet space monument to Reagan is installed in the center of Tbilisi.

Saakashvili noted the special role of Reagan, as the gravedigger of the "evil empire" in the form of the USSR.

"He gave us an example of how to deal with the evil of Soviet imperialism and never lose optimism," he stressed.

In conclusion, Saakashvili answered the audience's questions.

The fund was established by Ronald Reagan.
