About 100 indigents busted into the Major's Office of Tbilisi and settled on the second floor of the building. They overcame the resistance of the security by crushing it.

The participants demanded to allocate them accommodation in new houses specially constructed by Switzerland for indigents.

The head of the city's social services Mamuka Katsarava said that there were 24 flats in newly constructed houses and they have already been distributed among organizations which have relevant responsibility and the Major's Office can't re-distribute accommodation.

New houses were opened yesterday in Tbilisi by the major and the representative of Swiss embassy.

Today, a crowd gathered in front of the Major's Office building at 12:00. People demanded to re-distribute the flats. The protest action lasted for several hours. They blocked the road traffic for a while. This caused clashes with drivers, then they busted into the building of Major's Office.

The participants declared that they wouldn't leave the building till they were supplied with accommodation, as they don't have a place to live.

Note, empty houses have been captured everywhere in Georgia, especially in Tbilisi, for the last 10 days. At first, only refugees were dealing with this activity, but now this tactics was also chosen by the socially-poor people.
