Georgian Defense Minister presents special operations commander

Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Alasania presented special operations commander Major Dmitry Kiknadze at a military base Mukhrovani.
Scheduled meeting held at the training center in the Special Forces and Ranger Battalion is very important, Alasania told journalists.
"I personally saw the readiness and morale of our soldiers and learned about the methodology of training, quality of training, and I can say that we can praise the training of our Special Forces" Alasania said.
He added that the Special Forces have a special role in the new vision of the Ministry of Defence.
Kiknadze was a commander of group of special operations forces in 2006-2008.
According to the Defense Ministry in 2006-2008 Kiknadze was a commander of group of special operations forces. He did the compulsory military service in the Air Assault Brigade of the Ministry of State Security. At various times, he worked in senior positions in the Ministry of State Security.
