A Georgian parliamentary delegation at the invitation of the German Bundestag (German parliament), Foreign Ministry and the German Federal Government left for Berlin on Monday.
As the Georgian parliament told Trend, within the visit, which will last from Dec.10 to 14, the Georgian parliamentarians will attend the conference "Distribution of power and pluralism in the German political system," and will hold meetings in the Bundestag and the German Foreign Ministry. In particular, Deputy Chairman of Georgian Parliament, Zurab Abashidze will meet with Vice-Speaker of the Bundestag, Wolfgang Thierse. In addition, Georgian parliament's members will visit University of Potsdam.
The delegation, which is visiting Germany includes Zurab Abashidze, Eka Beselia, Irakli Sesiashvili, Levan Berdzenishvili and Gigla Agulashvili from the parliamentary majority, and David Darchiashvili and Giorgi Karbelashvili from the minority.
