President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili met with the President of Haiti Michel Martelly during his visit to Ecuador, Georgian President's administration reported on Friday
According to the report, during the meeting which took place with participation of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Davit Jalagania and representatives of the Georgian parliamentary minority, Saakashvili spoke about the ongoing reforms in Georgia.
Within the framework of the visit Saakashvili also met with the Vice-President of Algeria.
"The Georgian reforms are brands everywhere," Saakashvili said after the meeting with the Vice-President of Algeria.
According to Saakashvili, the vice-president of Algeria expressed great interest in this subject, saying that he has heard a lot about the reforms in Georgia.
"I am pleased that for the first time in our history, high-level contacts took place between Georgia and Algeria. This is very important. Such visits provide an opportunity to meet people, to establish friendly relations," Saakashvili said.
