Georgia, Tbilisi, May 29 / Trend, N. Kirtzkhalia /
The names of 18 Georgian wines and three mineral waters have been officially registered in Kazakhstan, the Georgian Patent Office told Trend on Monday.
According to the information, the registration process began last year and was successfully completed a few months later.
The Intellectual Property Committee of the Kazakh Ministry of Justice has issued a document certifying the registration of names of 18 wines and three mineral waters.
This measure will prevent the illegal use of the Georgian names of wines and waters in Kazakhstan.
However, the registration gives the opportunity to entitle only authorized companies and physical entities to use names of wines and waters in Kazakhstan.
