Georgian Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri met with representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission, who arrived in the country.
The Georgian Finance Ministry reported on Friday that the minister met with the representatives of the IMF mission, headed by Mark Griffiths. It was stressed that the Georgian government, including the Finance Ministry will actively work with IMF to create fiscal and macroeconomic parameters of the next year.
As part of the mission, IMF representatives will meet with representatives of the executive and legislative branches of Georgia and discuss the issues related to the country's economic and financial policy.
After the consultations with the IMF, the Georgian government will submit a revised draft state budget-2014 to the Parliament.
