Visit of UK foreign secretary shows support to Georgia’s European aspirations

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has received the UK Foreign Secretary William Hague.
During the business breakfast, Garibashvili thanked the guest for the support to Georgia, the prime minister's press service said on May 8.
The parties touched upon the bilateral relations and signing the association agreement with EU, and NATO's Wales summit.
The prime minister stressed that the visit of UK foreign secretary clearly shows the support to Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations, as well as its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The parties emphasized the importance of intensifying the cooperation in trade, economic, transport, energy, cultural and education spheres.
Hague underscored that NATO highly appreciates Georgia's policy and its participation in peacekeeping operations.
