Passengers of a bus in Tbilisi threw a black-skinned French citizen out of the bus, fearing that he was infected with Ebola, says Lela Kodolashvili, a witness. The passenger was shouting that he was French but other passengers ignored it.

Earlier, Georgian Minister for Labor and Healthcare and Social Protection David Sergeyenko said that there were no facts of Ebola infection in the country and all foreigners from Africa were being checked.

"Not a single fact was settled, we keep track of all foreigners arriving from Africa, so there is no danger," he said.

A few people who have come from Africa are now under the supervision of Georgian doctors. They will be removed from the observation after the end of an incubation period of fever that lasts 21 days.
