By Nana Kirtzkhalia - Trend:

Georgia's permanent representative to NATO Levan Dolidze will leave his post, but not now.

Dolidze informed Georgia's Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili about his decision.

"I told Garibashvili about my resignation only after several important meetings scheduled for the near future," Dolidze told "Maestro" TV company from Brussels. "The implementation of the NATO-Georgia significant package will be discussed. Moreover, the ministerial meeting is planned to be held in the first half of December. I will be actively involved in the position of Georgia to be effectively represented in NATO."

Dolidze is the brother of one of the leaders of the "Free Democrats" Viktor Dolidze. Yesterday, the party withdrew from the ruling coalition.
