Georgia’s honey exports from January through November 2021 amounted to 150,030 tons worth $536,180, Trend reports via National Statistics Office (Geostat).
The value of honey exports in the reporting period of 2021 increased almost 9 times, compared to $59,840 worth of honey over the same period of 2020.
The volume of Georgia’s honey exports over first 11 months of 2021 also increased 17 times, compared to 8,490 tons over the same period of 2020.
Top importers of Georgian honey (Jan. through Nov. 2021) by value:
France – $196,970;
Bulgaria – $188, 330;
Qatar – $26,250;
Hong Kong – $24,010;
The US – $20,440
