Time for cessation of hostilities during Peace Spring operation in northern Syria expires

Time allotted for the cessation of hostilities during the Peace Spring military operation in northern Syria expired at 12:00 (GMT+3) on Oct. 23, Trend reports on Oct. 23 referring to the Turkish media.
Reportedly, the Turkish Armed Forces within the next few hours may resume the military operation to eliminate the terrorists who did not leave the Syrian-Turkish border.
On Oct. 17, Ankara agreed with Washington to suspend the Operation Peace Spring in Syria's north for 120 hours, so that during this time the YPG/PYD detachments would leave northern Syria.
On Oct. 9, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Erdogan announced the beginning of a new military operation in Syria, called "Peace Spring".
