The Algerian Interior Ministry has established a central operations center, which includes the police and security forces, with a view to prevent probable mass disorders during today's rallies ,Al Arabiya reported.
Meanwhile, the Algerian government has called for police and internal troops to self control and not to answer any provocative steps.
Recently Algeria's interior minister Dahou Oul Kablia accused foreign forces related to Israel of staging a chaos in the country through social networking sites including Facebook.
"We have detained some people attempting of sowing seeds of discord and the inquiry has proved their ties with the Zionist regime," Dahou Oul Kablia said.
Since early 2011, the wave of popular unrests have covered a number of countries in the Middle East and North Africa, particularly Tunisia, Egypt, Bahrain, Yemen and Libya. Popular uprisings have led to the downfall of the ruling regimes in Egypt and Tunisia. Currently, a fierce struggle between the authorities and armed rebels continues in Libya.
