Syrian state media on Tuesday reported that three members of the security forces were killed by "armed terrorist groups", DPA reported.
Two were killed in an ambush in al-Sabouniyeh neighbourhood in the central city of Hama, while another member of the security forces was shot dead in the eastern Homs province, according to the SANA news agency.
