(Centredaily) A single-engine airplane crashed into an office building in suburban Philadelphia after the pilot landed at an adjacent airport.
The pilot landed at Brandywine Airport on Friday but failed to negotiate a turn on the runway, airport manager John Taylor said. The plane went down a grassy hill and crashed into the brick office building.
The pilot and one passenger, who were not immediately identified, sustained minor injuries, West Goshen police Capt. Joseph Gleason said.
The plane could have had brake problems, Taylor said.
The nose of the airplane was smashed, and the windshield popped out. The building was not damaged, though workers were evacuated.
