( ForUm ) - United Nations Organization is ready to contribute to spread of information on Holodomor in Ukraine in 1932-33 all over the world. Coordinator of UNO system in Ukraine Francis O'Donnell said that yesterday in Kyiv at a press conference.
"We are ready to do everything on information spread about Holodomor. It will be good if international community knows true information about this tragedy," he said.
At the same time, according to O'Donnell, UNO can formally admit Holodomor genocide only by means of voting by representatives of countries-members.
He has noted that Holodomor is very important but problematic. According to him, more and more countries admit Holodomor in Ukraine as genocide. He reminded that Viktor Yushchenko is going to announce next year a year of Holodomor victims memory.
