Russian ferry put into calculated orbit

The Russian Progress ferry, fired off from the Baikonur cosmodrome on Sunday, was successfully put into a calculated orbit at 10.21 MT, Itar-Tass learnt at the Mission Control Centre, Moscow Region.

"Progress M-62 detached from a Soyuz-V launch vehicle (which lifted off at 10.12) at an altitude of 200 kilometres above the earth and continued its flight towards the International Space Station according to a set trajectory," an expert specified.

According to telemeter information, the flight passes smoothly.
