( dpa )- Brazil coach Carlos Dunga admitted he is already dreaming of winning the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
Just 18 months into his term as national coach, the former midfielder Dunga pointed to the Copa America 2007, which Brazil won in Venezuela, as his greatest achievement so far, in an interview published on the website Terra Sports Monday.
But he stressed that he will not settle just for that.
"In the national team you do not have to think about what you have already won, but about what you can still win," Dunga said.
Dunga - Brazil's captain when the South American giant won the 1994 World Cup - is the first person with no prior managing experience to coach Brazil, and Dunga said he is happy with the results he has delivered so far.
"No former player took over the Brazilian national team as a rookie coach. No former player obtained the results that we are obtaining. That is why we have to go for more. We have to win where Brazil has never won before. We have to win better, to get a better result, where Brazil has already won before," Dunga said.
He became Brazil coach in August 2006 and was named coach of the year in 2007 by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).
