National security commission of Iran's parliament is to hold a specialized meeting that discusses Lebanon's crises, reported ISNA.

Officials from the foreign ministry and other related organizations will participate in the meeting, said the chief of the commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi.

"Lebanon experienced another 33-day war only this time in politics, this war marked a new victory for Hezbollah," he added.

U.S. and its allies made their best effort to eliminate Hezbollah's power from Lebanon's political arena, Boroujerdi noted saying wide-spread popularity of Hezbollah and its vigilance nullified their plots.
