World may lose interest in Palestine problem ї Franceїs FM

French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner warned on Saturday that the expected changes in in the governments of both Israel and the USA and also the nuclear pressure on Iran may cause the world to lose attentions on the Palestinean issue, RIA Novosti reported.

Kouchner visited to Palestinean territory where he had a talk with Mahmud Abbas, the Palestineїs head of national administration, and the premier-minister Salam Fayad. On Sunday he will meet to former premier-minister Ehoud Olmert and his counterpart Cipy Livni who will take his position.

The most I worry about are the change in the US administration, the appointment of the new Israely government and also Iranїs disturbance which causes to gorget about other problems in the region. I wouldnїt like it to realize, - said Kouchner.

French Minister said this conflict is not expected to be solved by beginning of 2009 ї the term by which had been dealt late November before the launch of the Israel-Palestine dialogues on forum of Annapolice. At the same time he expressed Franceїs intention towards helping Palestineans to gain their independence.
