Belarusian MPs work hard for integration in ex-USSR

The fourth convocation Belarusian parliament has vigorously joined the work of integration bodies in the post-Soviet space, said Vladimir Andreichenko, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, at the end of the first parliamentary session on December 19, BelTA has learnt.

The Chairman said, a delegation of the Belarusian parliament took place in events of the CIS IPA and EurAsEC, CSTO PA in Saint Petersburg. The participation was used to hold bilateral meetings with the leadership of parliaments of Armenia, Moldova, Russia, and Tajikistan to discuss mutual support at interparliamentary organisations.

The House of Representatives continued promoting contacts with the OSCE PA, the Nordic Council, and the CEI PA.

The first session has formed national delegations to 12 international parliamentary organisations. The formation of commissions and working parties for bilateral cooperation with parliaments of 41 countries is close to completion.
