Daniel Albrecht will remain in an induced coma, doctors said on Sunday as the Swiss skier was in a stable condition three days after a horror crash in Kitzbuehel.
The Innsbruck clinic said that Albrecht spent "a quiet and stable" night and that his brain was not swollen. Doctors said they were not worried about his condition but would not yet start the wake-up process, dpa reported.
Albrecht, 25, was placed in the induced coma after suffering a brain haemorrhage and bruising to the lung when he lost control on a jump and crashed heavily on his back during downhill training on the demanding Streif piste in Kitzbuehel on Thursday.
