Russian State Duma to consider cooperation strengthening with Belarus’ Parliament
The State Duma of Russia will consider the possibilities of strengthening cooperation and developing inter-parliamentary contacts with the National Assembly of Belarus. The issue that is high on the agenda of a session of the State Duma deputy group will take place in Moscow on March 19, BelTA learnt from the PR and mass media cooperation department of Belarus-Russia Union State PA.
The session will focus on the Russian-Belarusian cooperation in the political, economic, social and cultural spheres, as well as the major provisions of the programme on coordinated actions in the foreign policy between Belarus and Russia.
Attending the session will be deputies of the State Duma and the Parliamentary Assembly, members of the Foreign Ministry of Russia, Embassy of Belarus in Russia, the Union State Permanent Committee.
