Finland wants to see Turkey was a full member of the European Union (EU), Finnish Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb said at the meeting with his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutolgu, TRT-2 TV channel reported.
"I am sure that Turkey will become a full member of the EU within a short period of time," Stubb said.
Stubb said joining the EU is a long process, but Turkey can become a full member of the organization as a result of reforms held in the country.
The visit also focused on the status of Cyprus.
"I believe Cyprus will unify and become the unified state soon," Stubb said.
