The fashion label created by Alexander McQueen will live on despite the British designer's suicide last week at the age of 40, his former parent company said Thursday, DPA reported.
Francois-Henri Pinault of French multinational luxury goods company PPR made the announcement Thursday, praising McQueen as a "genius, a poet and a friend," the Press Association reported.
