The final fourth plane carrying Russians from protest-hit Libya has landed in Moscow, a spokesman for Russia's Emergency Situations Ministry said on Wednesday, RIA Novosti reported.

"The evacuation of Russians and other nationals by planes has been completed," the spokesman said.

Yak-42 carrying 16 members of the ministry's task force landed at around 10 p.m. Moscow time (19:00 GMT). Earlier on Wednesday, two Il-76 planes and Il-62 with Russians onboard arrived at Moscow's Domodedovo Airport.

Russia has sent four airplanes to evacuate over 300 Russians from Libya, hit by mass anti-government protests. Most of them are employees of the Russian Railways monopoly and the Gazprom energy giant or families of Russian diplomats.

Russia also sent on Wednesday a passenger vessel from Montenegro. The ship will take on Russians, who work under a contract with the Russian Railways, from north Libya's cites of Ras Lanuf and Surt.

According to international organizations, 640 people have been killed and up to 4,000 wounded in clashes with government forces in Libya since protests against longtime leader Muammar Gaddafi's regime began on February 15.
