Seventeen Russian passengers were injured Friday morning after their tourist bus overturned in Heilongjiang Province, said local authorities, Xinhua reported.
The accident happened around 5 a.m. on the National Highway 202 in the city of Wudalianchi, said Wang Wei, head of the city's traffic police brigade.
Seventeen of the 28 Russian passengers aboard the bus were injured, but their injuries were not life-threatening, Wang said.
The injured were rushed to hospital and six of them were still receiving medical treatment, he said.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
