An Ukrainian zookeeper says he will soon share a cage with two lions for 35 days in order to to draw attention to the maintenance of animals in private zoos and to raise money for a new aviary in his own private facility, Xinhua reported.

"I'll sleep on a wooden floor and have hay there. I have already built a small room equipped with shower and toilet in the enclosure," Alexander Pylyshenko, the owner of a small private zoo in southern Ukraine, said Tuesday.

Pylyshenko, who plans to set up housekeeping in the cage on Aug. 2, said his life with the kings of the jungle will be available on the Internet thanks to four webcams he's installed in his new home.

The zookeeper said he isn't afraid of lions but will have to avoid shampoo, shower-gels, beer and cigarettes because the animals dislike sharp odors.
