Unknown militants blew up with explosives girls' high school in North Western Pakistan on Tuesday, police said, IRNA reported.

According to police militants blew up school at Katlingdheri area in Mardan district of Khayber Pukhtunkhaw province.

Police said that three rooms of the school were totally destroyed, while the remaining portion was partially damaged.

Police said that there was none in the school and no loss of life occurred. However, a case has been registered and investigation started.

More than 20 kilograms of explosives was used in the attack, police said.

Up till now, twelve schools have been destroyed by militants in Mardan.
