A total of 45 people were aboard a Russia-built SJ-100 Superjet that crashed in Indonesia, a top official from the Sukhoi aerospace company said on Thursday, DPA reported.
Vladimir Prisyazhnyuk, Sukhoi's president, said that 8 Russian nationals, 1 French national, 1 US national, 2 female Italian nationals, and 33 Indonesian nationals were aboard the plane when it hit a mountain on Wednesday, the Interfax news agency reported.
