Moscow hopes that its relations with Washington will be mended and will become normal after the US presidential election, TASS quoted Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov as saying.
“We respect the American people’s choice, as it would be the case irrespective of the results of the election,” the minister said. “We hope that relations between Russia and the US, which are currently not at their best, will be mended and become normal, which meets the interests of our peoples and the entire international community.”
